We are glad to welcome young Venezuelan architect Rosana Garcia to the online workshop PUBLIC SPACE AND PEOPLE directed by Andrés Walliser. She will be one of the participants and was kind enough to send us a short introduction text about herself. Meet Rosana!

“My name is Rosana Garcia; I am Venezuelan architect, graduated from the University of Zulia, located in Maracaibo, Venezuela, with a Master in Urban Studies in Mediterranean Regions. I have always done in a predisposition toward realizing large-scale architectural projects, where it is extremely important visual impact and contribution to the overall context. Recently I have experienced that such impacts should be in agreement with the people, measuring them the ability to accept having the same functional aspects, social etc. Many of the concepts to consider for the intervention of spaces (especially public ones) are important, but consider the joint work with communities is vital to get results that meet immediate and future needs.”
