The main idea is to  capture more sun and decrease shadows in winter as people love to sit in the sun
so by making a draft model to calculate the average solar radition in winter then generating a terrain responsive to the result (places with low solar radiation become higher and vice versa ) so that most of the square will have nice direct sun then adjusting this terrain to preserve a kind of a ring around the buildings as entrances and gathering points ,and adding another level in the lower areas to add some curiosity playful atmosphere (and also shading in summer if the summer sun isnt  needed )

I am thinking this terrain or some parts of it could be changeable due to weather so the square in summer will have a different topography than winter or spring for example
